Hey! Since I'm now teaching dyslexic students to read, I need all things visual! So I created some alphabet and digraph posters to help my little friends at school! Here's a sample! You can find them at my TPT store.
I'm also working on a syllable division activity for my
students. I am creating these so they can practice over the summer.
It's an easy, awesome activity, that helps them understand
syllables and word attack!! I will post it soon.

We also made our favorite tasting apples and hung them in the trees....
In K5 we made these apples
After reading The Rainbow Fish in K4 and K5... we made some fish... :)
Our caterpillars went with Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar.....

Enemy Pie
In 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade we visited TumbleBooks.com and listened/watched the book Enemy Pie by Derek Munson. What a great story!! Everyone agreed that serving Enemy Pie to your enemies really works!! After the story, we enjoyed some Enemy Pie ourselves! You can find the recipe here.

Two Bad Ants
In 2nd grade library time, we read Two Bad Ants by Chris Van Allsburg, and learned about inferences and a little bit about perspective. We learned that inferences are a conclusion a reader draws from the text based on their schema and various clues in the story. Then we wrote some inferences and made these ants!

A Bad Case of Stripes
I read this book to the third grade class and they loved it! Then we read it again and talked about cause and effect and WHY Camilla got her stripes. Here's a little craftivity we did with it.
